Tantalizing Tuscany

Experience Tuscany in every way possible with this suggested itinerary. Explore the home of the Renaissance, enjoy the Tuscan coast and dive right into the charming Tuscan culture.

Day 1
Arrive in Florence, home to the renaissance. Check into Hotel Cellai and spend the evening meandering through the streets and sampling local cuisine.

Day 2
Florence is awash with stunning Renaissance art and architecture. Today is your chance to see Michelangelo’s Statue of David, the Duomo di Firenze and many more architectural gems.

Day 3
Today you can take a full day trip to Siena and visit the sloping piazza del Campo. If you’re there in July or August you may even see the famous Palio horse races.

Day 4
You should take a trip to Pisa today, home to the iconic leaning tower of Pisa. But that’s not all Pisa has to offer, the town is steeped in historical buildings and quirky attractions. Be sure to try the cake at Salza, it’s a must-do!

Day 5
It’s time to head for a new resort. We recommend Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte in Viareggio on the Tuscan Coast. This sun-kissed region boasts long stretches of sandy beaches and the perfect retreat for a relaxing beach break.

Day 6
You should spend today lazing by the beach or on the panoramic rooftop terrace at your hotel. Either way, it’s a day for nothing but blissful relaxation!

Day 7
You can continue your relaxation and stimulate your senses with some couples’ treatments at the historic spa, Montecatini Terme, today.

Day 8
After all that relaxation, you might be interested in exploring the Cinque Terre by foot. The Cinque Terre is a string of centuries-old seaside villages with ancient vineyards, steep terraces and picturesque harbours.

Day 9
Fancy diving into Tuscan culture with an afternoon of cooking classes and wine tasting? You haven’t experienced Tuscany until you’ve immersed yourself in the delicious Tuscan cuisine.

Day 10
Enjoy the glittering Tuscan coast at your leisure today.

Day 11
If you’re feeling rejuvenated after a day of relaxing yesterday, you might want to explore the resort on a bike tour. It’s a great way to see the sights up close and personal.

Day 12
Another day to spend together as you wish.

Day 13
This is our favourite activity to recommend for honeymooners. Finish off your last full day in Tuscany with a magical hot air balloon ride over the Tuscan countryside. A truly memorable and special way to end your honeymoon.

Day 14
Today you can soak up a few last rays of sunshine before your flight back to Ireland.

Please note that this is a suggested honeymoon itinerary. We can tailor make each individual couple’s honeymoon so that you head off on your dream honeymoon, down to the very last detail.
